Broker's Comments
These fabulous and widely respected blue water cruisers don't appear on the market very often - hardly surprising since only a dozen Vancouver 38 Pilot yachts have been built!
This particular Vancouver 38 Pilot was built by Northshore as their feature boat and she appears in their sales literature for the model. She also features in an Imray publication 'The West Country: Lyme Bay to the Isles of Scilly' written by Carlos Rojas, a previous owner of this superb yacht.
The thoughtfully designed space offers four double berths and two heads compartments. The raised dining area is offset to port with a 'C' shaped settee, folding table and excellent all round visibility. A well-found boat with good sea keeping ability and deceptively quick,
Yachting Monthly review said....."the Vancouver 38 Pilot offers a good compromise between the requirements of harbour living and offshore sailing. She is fast, stable and well-mannered, and a couple should have no trouble coping with her tough, sensible rig.
All in all, she is a rugged cruising home, one that will not only get to far flung places quickly and safely, but will let her lucky owners survey their new surroundings from the comfort of the saloon"
If you're looking for a serious and comfortable passage maker, in superb overall condition with the extra benefit of having new sails, recently re-rigged and with a first class level of equipment then look no further!
A fully detailed inventory has been provided by the owner and is available on request. The out of water photos were taken Spring 2021.
