Broker's Comments

The Nelson 34 is a familiar sight to thousands of boaters. Designed by the late Peter Thorneycroft, the originator of the Nelson range, it is the archetypal police boat. This boat boasts 2 Thorneycroft Ford engines which have been marinised. They are easy and economical to maintain. She has a forward double berth and is built to manage trips in rocky seas. Indeed, she was used to transport the film crew for the Three Peaks Race in 2007. With lots of new and renewed extras – a new cockpit cover, new batteries, antifouled last year, dingy and davits and two aluminium beaching legs as can be seen in the underwater profile shot. Her last survey was in Jan 2004. There is a high probability of aquiring a berth for this boat - a real bonus!
