Broker's Comments

This Maurice Griffiths Francis Drake design is a lovely design. It has a solid steel hull and its shape is a delight. This one does require full restoration but has considerable potential for someone looking for a classic design. These boats have an ocean going reputation and this one when fully restored will be no exception!

This yacht has been for sale for several years now and with no progress. Would boatshed given the circumstance consider placing us in direct contact with the owner to discuss her condition/build etc perhaps over another viewing? We did make a very low offer we agree before (2 years ago) but this was and is due to our perceived value of her and our experience but we do still have an interest in her and think it is a shame she is still in need of a new home which we would do.

Clearly a buyer has not come forward yet and we feel that as the owner is also the builder direct contact if arranged could allow us to be pushed on our offer and have many questions answered that are important and we would not expect a broker to know off the cuff. I do not want to list anything specific here that would wrongly affect potential viewers but clearly there are points that could be ironed out to try and achieve a sale that meets every ones needs.
