Broker's Comments

Moody Yachts have a loyal following by their owners, who will stay with the class and move up in size.
This one is exceptionally well presented by her owner and is in a condition that is a credit to the couple who have looked after her with loving care. She has had many upgrades including new rigging, new engine and some new instruments amongst others.
The Moody 33 is a boat designed by Angus Primrose for family cruising with blue water cruising capability. She is a steady boat that can handle adverse weather conditions safely, yet is easy to handle and rewarding to sail.
The accommodation has 6 berths with a double in the forward cabin. The heads are starboard with a hanging locker opposite. The main saloon has ample room around the cabin table with 2 settee berths. The galley is to port with the navigation station opposite. The owners tell me that the aft cabin is very comfortable which is due to the thick mattresses on the berths. The cockpit is a good size and is well protected by the large sprayhood.
In 2015 a Beta 36 hp engine was fitted, which can reach speeds of 8 knots but she will cruise happily at 6 knots plus. This is important against an adverse tide or when you need to get to the restaurant on time!
If you are currently in the market for a good quality cruising boat, that is ready to go, please book an appointment to view. This is not a boat to be missed!
