Built in 1913 at Appelo, Zwartsluis, Holland with Dutch registry, Zwolle 1940 and Historic ships registry 1326, Johanna Elisabeth has been lovingly restored and refinished using the best quality materials.
Significant replating to bottom in 2006.
Bottom sandblasted, repaired, painted and coated to waterline 2006. Topsides sand blasted, repaired, 2 pack painted 2008. Varnish exterior wooden window frames, atrium, doors 2013.
New atrium hatches have double glazed glass panels. The windlass and anchor brakes have been serviced and are protected by tarps when not in use. All tarps have been custom made.
Steering is outside, adjacent to a 3 tank gas locker with hand crafted wooden seat.
The engine room and main doors have been completely remade by hand in teak.
The new steel rope locker has been custom made; the hand crafted lid was designed to match the gas locker lid.
New navigation lights have been fitted into custom crafted housing.
Porthole frames have been replaced with traditional solid brass fittings.
