Broker's Comments

David Sadler, the designer of the Sadler 29 said it was the best boat that he ever designed. Which is a remarkable statement as he designed the much admired and appreciated Contessa 32, Sadler 25 and Sadler 32. Having sailed all of the boats I can see his point.
For a bilge keel yacht she sails extremely well in all conditions, from light airs to a full gale. She is easy to handle and manoeuvre under sail and power. She can dry out on sandy beaches and harbours, explore shallow creeks and with her twin keels can use those cheaper drying moorings.
She has a spacious interior. The forward cabin has a large double berth, the saloon table drops which creates another double berth and with the settee and quarter berths she is able to sleep 6 adults.
This boat has been in the same ownership for nearly 20 years. She has in mast roller reefing plus a furling headsail. A new mast was fitted in 1994 with over sized standing rigging. She has radar and is well equipped.
She could do with her hull being polished but this does not detract from her being a good popular boat.
