This popular motor sailer gives you the best of both worlds. Sail when you have the right conditions and motor when there isn’t.
The centre keel has a cast iron shoe fitted along the full length and there are deep cast iron bilge keels port and starboard.
There is a heavy rope fender on each side.
She has one mast which is fitted in a tabernacle on deck forward of the steering position with stainless steel shrouds and stays. Both main and fore sails are roller reefed: the latter can be operated from the cockpit. The sails are fairly new and appear to be in good condition and the sail covers are almost new.
Steering is by a hand operated wheel through wires to a single plate type rudder.
Two electric bilge pumps serve each compartment and there are two hand operated pumps in reserve.
A real bonus for this boat is the fact that there is a spare engine (in very good condition) included in the sale, making this a real find for a Hardy enthusiast.
This boat is being reluctantly sold by a doting grandfather who wants to spend more time with his grandchildren.
